FLOYDADA, TX – A new community-driven effort is taking shape in Floydada as residents launch Floydada Community Connection, an initiative aimed at gathering ideas and feedback from local citizens about the future of the community.
The Floydada Community Connection is designed to be a grassroots effort made up of local residents who simply want to help generate new ideas and opportunities for the town. The group is open to everyone in the community, not just business owners, and focuses on encouraging public participation in shaping Floydada’s future.
As part of the initiative, organizers have created a community survey that is currently being shared with residents. The survey invites citizens to share their thoughts, suggestions, and ideas about what they would like to see happen in Floydada in the coming years. Community members are encouraged to take a few minutes to complete the survey and help provide direction for future projects and events.
In addition to the survey, the Floydada Community Connection will host an informal gathering where residents can share their thoughts in person. The event will take place at Drink Stop on Main on Thursday, March 26, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Organizers say the event will provide a relaxed environment where community members can visit with one another, discuss ideas, and offer feedback about ways to improve and grow Floydada.
Residents are encouraged to attend the gathering, visit with organizers, and take part in the conversation about the community’s future.
By gathering input directly from citizens, the Floydada Community Connection hopes to create new opportunities, events, and initiatives that reflect the interests and ideas of the people who call Floydada home.
