FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada softball program is inviting the community out for a fun-filled afternoon as they host a Softball Easter Egg Hunt alongside an upcoming varsity game on Friday.

The event is scheduled for April 3rd and will take place during the Lady Winds’ home game. Organizers say the Easter egg hunt will begin after the varsity game, giving families a chance to enjoy both the competition on the field and a festive activity for children.

In a special nod to younger athletes, girls who attended the summer softball camp are encouraged to wear their camp shirts. Those participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a memorable moment by standing with the high school players during the National Anthem.

The Easter egg hunt is open to children 5th grade and under, making it a great opportunity for families to bring younger kids out for an evening of community fun.

With a mix of softball, holiday celebration, and youth involvement, the event is shaping up to be a lively afternoon at the ballpark. Organizers hope to see a strong turnout as the community comes together to support the Lady Winds and celebrate the Easter season.
