FLOYDADA, TX – The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus is bringing classic family entertainment to Floydada with a one-day stop on Wednesday, April 8, featuring two live performances under an authentic Circus Big Top.

Sponsored by the Floydada Chamber of Commerce, the circus will set up at the Floydada Rodeo Grounds, located between Tennessee Street and Georgia Street. Showtimes are scheduled for 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., with the midway opening one hour prior to each performance.

Families attending can enjoy a full evening of activities before the show begins, including concessions, pony rides, face painting, and inflatable attractions. The 90-minute performance promises a wide variety of traditional circus acts, including big cats, aerialists, tightrope walking, fire eating, trained dogs, foot juggling, and daredevil stunts.

Advance tickets are currently available at discounted prices. Adults can purchase tickets for $14, while children and seniors can attend for $8 when bought ahead of circus day. Pre-sale tickets are available locally at Assiter Insurance, Drink Stop on Main, and the City of Floydada Office.

Online tickets are also available for $14.75 for adults and $8.75 for children and seniors through the circus website and will remain on sale until 10:00 p.m. on April 7, or until sold out.

On the day of the event, tickets will only be available at the box office, with prices increasing to $17 for adults and $10 for children ages 2–12 and seniors 65 and older. Admission is free for children under the age of 2.

Event organizers encourage residents to purchase tickets early to save money and to help support the Floydada Chamber of Commerce, as a larger portion of advance ticket sales goes directly back to the local sponsor.

The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus has been touring communities across the country for decades, bringing a traditional circus experience to small towns and creating lasting memories for families of all ages.
