FLOYDADA – The traffic flow on south 2nd street was a bit congested yesterday afternoon, Thursday, near Canyon Ridge Family Dentistry; but, for good reason! Canyon Ridge Family Dentistry, serving all of Floydada and the surrounding areas, kicked off their Open House last evening, complete with BBQ, raffles, games and give-aways!
In all the hustle and bustle and activity of the Open House, Dr. Summer Ketron-Roark stated, “We wanted to get the first few months behind us, but we are thrilled to be here in Floydada and have been so excited open up the office and invite everyone in!”
Dr. Summer Ketron Roark and Dr. Natalie Anderson opened the doors to this local dentistry in June (See related article link below). All dental services are provided, as well as orthodontics–Invisalign and traditional braces, and preventative cleanings.
The doctors are thrilled to have been able to hire their support staff locally, keeping Dental Assistant Kimberly Pacheco, and adding Lisa Jimenez to assist in the operatories as well as the front desk, and Anna Kidd as the practice’s Hygienist.
Dr. Ketron-Roark explained that they are booking dentistry procedures on Mondays and Thursdays and Cleanings on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Already the facility is being expanded due to the reception of the community. “We are starting work on building a third operatory room,” explained Dr. Ketron-Roark. “We’ve been really busy and we don’t want people to have to wait–we want to be able to schedule them and get them in soon.”
But Thursday evening, dental procedures were the last thing on everyone’s mind. Surrounded by comfy, autumn decor featuring Floydada pumpKins, with the smell of BBQ wafting through the crowds, it was all about welcoming the community into the fold.
