FLOYDADA — Shoppers in Floydada will have a unique opportunity to snag some bargains and treats as they shop local next week.
The Floydada Chamber of Commerce is holding a “Shop Local Fiesta” on Monday, encouraging Floyd County residents to patronize local, small businesses that day. A number of businesses from around town will be offering special deals and incentives to shop local on that day.
As of Monday morning, participating businesses and their incentives include:
- Social Fly – $10 gift card for every $50 spent
- Dixie Dog – $2 Dixie Dogs and cheese dogs
- IEDesignCo – $10 gift card for purchases over $50
- Pauline’s Smokin’ Salsa – $2 off any purchase of $10 or more
- Nutthouse Designs: $30 digitization fee waived with purchase of 12 hats; buy three get one free personalized shirts
- Texas Tech Federal Credit Union – Free gift with new accounts when mentioning Floydada Chamber
- Cathy’s Floral & Gifts – 50 percent off jewelry, 75 percent off select items; entry into drawing for $50 floral arrangement gift card with purchase
- Little Red Barn – Zucchini, onions, pickles, jam, zucchini bread, eggs and cucumbers available
- Script Printing – 20 percent off select items and free stationary with $20 purchase
- Bonnie’s House – $5 make and take Young Living essential oil roller bottles; entry into drawing for USB diffuser with each bottle; free scalp spray with six bottles
- Payne Family Pharmacy – 20 percent off all jewelry
- JWP Outdoors – 100 rounds of free ammo with purchase of select ARs
A number of vendors, including Paulinie’s Smokin’ Salsa and Little Red Barn will be set up under the Serrato Sisters pavilion on South Main Street. Other vendors without a traditional storefront are welcome to set up under the pavilion as well.
