FLOYDADA — Natalie Snowden has been named the new Texas A&M AgriLife Floyd County Extension Agent for Family and Community Health.

The Floyd County Commissioners Court approved her hiring during their December meeting Monday. Snowden replaces Cristen Brooks, who left the extension office earlier this year after many years of service to the county.

Natalie is married to Mark Snowden, pastor of First Baptist Church of Floydada. The Snowdens have five children and have lived in the county for four years.

Snowden comes to the position from Floydada Collegiate ISD, where she taught elementary school. Her first day on the job will be Jan. 5.
