Concepcion Reyna (Floydada)
Concepcion Reyna, 70 of Floydada, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022. A funeral mass will be at 10:00 am, Friday, February 4, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview with Father Bill Anton, officiating. Interment will follow in Floydada Cemetery. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm, Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.
Concepcion was born on July 1, 1951, in Cameron, Texas to Jose and Gomecinda (Flores) Reyes. She married Edmundo Reyna on January 16, 1986, in Plainview. She enjoyed cooking, watching novelas, puzzles, and coloring on her tablet. She loved spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren.
Concepcion is survived by her husband, Edmundo Reyna of Floydada; two sons, Esteban (Samantha) Garcia, Jr. of Plainview and Alfredo Guadalupe (Cara) Garcia of Lockney; three daughters, Solia Garcia (Frankie Villarreal) of Florence, Texas, Idalia Garcia (Jaime Gonzalez) of Austin, and Joanna (Nathan) Blevins of Floydada; two brothers, Ramon Reyes of Killeen, Texas and Jose Reyes of Petersburg, Texas; three sisters, Maria Lucia Guerrero of Petersburg, Texas, Maria Jesusa Marez of Hargill, Texas, and Terry Reyes of Hondo, Texas; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by one son, Jesse Garcia; her parents; two brothers, Guadalupe, and Juan Manuel Reyes; and four sisters, Josefa Garza, Gomecinda Hinojosa, Maggie Valdez, and Maria Magdalena.
