CANYON – The Bi-District champion Lockney Lady Horns season came to an end Thursday night with a 31 to 74 loss to the Panhandle Ettes in the UIL Area Regional.
Amarillo Globe-News sports reporter Julio Vega described the play of the Lady Horns as stronger than the scoreboard displayed.
FINAL
Panhandle 74, Lockney 31
Ette's offensive speed, breakaway points, and shooting prowess were too much for the Lady Horns to handle, who still gave a valiant effort nonetheless despite the scoreline.
