FLOYDADA – Floydada Power & Light crews were out Monday morning repairing a power pole damaged in an accident Sunday afternoon.
The accident happened just after noon Sunday at the “Y” curve along Highway 70 when the driver of a pickup truck lost control and hit the pole.
City of Floydada officials say they did not have any reports of power outages from the incident. Crews blocked the inside lane of the highway while repairs were taking place.
