Whirlwinds battle for rebound against Roosevelt Eagles
FLOYDADA, TX – The #20 Floydada Whirlwinds hosted the Roosevelt Eagles on Tuesday for a non-district game.
The Whirlwinds were able to execute their game plan and apply pressure to the Eagles to jump out to a 23-13 first-quarter lead.
Floydada wouldn’t let their pressure up throughout the whole game and defended their perfect record with an impressive team win over the Roosevelt Eagles, 95-71.
The Winds were led in scoring by senior Abran Castillo (28 points) and sophomore Braun Hobbs (26 points).
Floydada moves to 5-0 on the season and will prepare for the New Home tournament that takes place December 1-3.
