OLTON, TX – The Lockney Longhorns (12-13, 4-7) faced off against the district leading #13 Olton Mustangs (22-4, 11-0) on Friday in a district matchup.
In the first quarter, the Longhorns were able to obtain a 15-11 lead.
The Mustangs were able to go on a run in the second quarter, however, and they were able to go into halftime up 25–23.
Olton put up 21 points in the third quarter to go up 46-32 over the Longhorns.
The Mustangs would close out the game in the fourth quarter and take the victory over Lockney, 70-38.
Lockney’s senior Johnathan Cienfuegos had a double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds in the Longhorns’ loss on Friday.
