More than 60 members of area 4H clubs gathered at the Floyd County Friends Unity Center on Saturday to participate in the 2023 3P Rifle Bonanza.
The 3P represents the three positions from which the individuals shoot. Shooters must fire a pre-determined number of shots in each of the three shooting positions: Prone, Kneeling, & Standing.
Floyd County was well represented, with Sydni Chessir taking 3rd place in the Senior Division and Christian Mendez taking 7th.
In the Intermediate Division, 4th place went to Aaron Rexrhode, with Aphroditie Aguilar taking 8th.
Two Floyd County 4H members placed in the Junior Division, including Levi Campbell (9th) and A.J. Aguilar (10th).
