SAN MARCOS, TX – Floydada’s Abran Castillo was named Thursday to the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Super Elite Boys Basketball Team.
The team consists of high school players nominated by current professional members of the THSCA. It recognizes student-athletes across the state for their exemplary athletic achievements in their respective sports.
Castillo, a Floydada Collegiate High School senior, is the only 2A player selected from the area. He has also been selected to play in Canyon’s annual Texas Golden Spread All-Star Basketball event next week (April 13-15) at West Texas A&M University.
