RALLS TX – On Saturday, the Lockney Longhorns traveled to Ralls to battle the Jackrabbits in a district game.
The Longhorns would strike in the top of the first inning, scoring two runs, but the Jackrabbits would quickly respond in the bottom half of the inning to take the lead, 5-2.
The Jackrabbits were able to add to their lead after three innings, with the score at 8-5.
Both teams would go back and forth for the next two innings, but in the top of the sixth inning, the Longhorns would have an offensive burst of ten runs to obtain the lead, 20-12.
Ralls was unable to mount a comeback, and the Longhorns were victorious on Saturday, 23–12, over the Jackrabbits.
