SMYER, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns traveled to Smyer on Tuesday in a district matchup against the Lady Cats.
Smyer began the game with a 7-5 lead.
The Lady Cats had a big 12-point second quarter and were able to extend their lead to 19-11 going into halftime.
Lockney had a good second half, scoring twelve points in each of the third and fourth quarters; however, it wasn’t enough as Smyer was victorious 50-35.
Lockney was led in scoring by Brinley Lefevre, who had 13 points and 7 rebounds.
Also contributing on Tuesday was Abery Ascencio, who had 12 points and 4 rebounds.
Lockney moves to 0-3 in district play and will look to their next district opponent in Floydada on January 2nd.
