FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds played host to the Lockney Longhorns on Tuesday night.
The Whirlwinds started the game with a 11-2 run and were ahead 30-5 at the end of the first quarter.
Floydada was able to control the rest of the first half and would go into the locker room for halftime up 58-15.
The Longhorns found some success in the second half, however the #7 Whirlwinds were able to close the game out 91-45.
Floydada moves to 14-5 overall and 2-0 in district.
Lockney falls to 5-7 overall and 1-1 in district play.
The Floydada JV boys defeated the Lockney JV 44-33.
