LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Longhorns played host to the Ralls Jackrabbits on Friday in a district game.
Lockney was able to jump out quickly and take a 19-8 lead after the first quarter.
The Longhorns continued to apply pressure and extend their lead to 39-18 going into halftime.
The Jackrabbits tried to fight back in the third quarter, outscoring the Longhorns 23-11 and cutting the lead down to 50-41.
Lockney secured the victory 68-56 in the fourth quarter to move to 2-1 in district play.
The Longhorns were led in scoring by Nathan Hernandez (18 points and 10 rebounds) and Dahlen Silva (15 points and 6 rebounds).
Haygen Lefevre also contributed to the Longhorn win with 14 points and 8 rebounds.
