RALLS, TX – The #6-ranked Floydada Whirlwinds made the trip to Ralls on Tuesday to battle the Jackrabbits in a district matchup.
Floydada jumped out to an early 21-10 lead after the first quarter.
The Whirlwinds didn’t let off the pressure as they went into halftime with a 48-24 lead.
It was continued fast paced play from the Whirlwinds as they would secure the 97-54 victory over the Jackrabbits.
Floydada was led by junior Braun Hobbs with 26 points and 9 rebounds.
Junior Sergio Valadez also contributed to the victory with 25 points and 3 rebounds.
The Whirlwinds move to 16-6 overall and 4-0 in district.
