LUBBOCK, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds were matched up against the #3 Farwell Lady Steers in the regional quarter-finals of the playoffs on Tuesday.
Farwell started the game with a 13-6 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The Lady Winds fought back in the second quarter, but still trailed going into halftime 29-21.
The Lady Steers were able to defend against the Floydada comeback and secured the victory over the Lady Winds 59-43.
Floydada’s historic season comes to an end as they finish it with an undefeated district champion title as well as bi-district and area champions.
