FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds hosted the New Deal Lady Lions in a district double-header on Tuesday.
The Lady Winds got on the scoreboard first in the bottom of the first inning and would take a 3-0 lead.
Floydada continued to extend their lead with four runs in the second inning, three in the third, and six in the fourth inning to secure the game one victory 16-1.
In the second game, the Lady Winds scored ten runs in the top of the first inning and six in the second to take a 16-0 lead.
Floydada’s defense held New Deal to just one run in the bottom of the third inning to secure the game two victory 16-1.
The Lady Winds moved to 4-0 in district play and 14-4-1 overall.
