RALLS, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds were in district action on Friday night as they traveled to Ralls to battle the Lady Jackrabbits.
The Lady Winds took control of the game early on in the back and forth first half, going into the locker room with a 33-26 lead.
Ralls fought back in the second half, but the Lady Winds closed the game out in the first district game of the season, winning 46-34.
Floydada was led in scoring by senior Brittany Falcon with 11 points, 5-6 from the free throw line, and two three pointers.
Senior Callie Brittain had a game-high nine rebounds in the win on Friday night.
The Lady Winds move to 9-5 overall and 1-0 in district play.
