American Legion Post 141 Seeks Volunteers for Memorial Day Activities

LOCKNEY – The American Legion Post 141 is calling on community members to volunteer for this year’s Memorial Day events. Assistance is needed both for set-up and participation in the program honoring fallen service members.

Volunteers are requested to help place flags at the memorial near the fire station on Locust Street on Sunday, May 25, at 2 p.m. At least six individuals are needed for this effort.

An additional group of at least six volunteers is needed on Monday, May 26, at 9 a.m. to assist with setting up for the Memorial Day program.

Community members of all ages are encouraged to participate. Those interested in helping should contact Wayne Post at 806-207-1898 by May 22.
