Gilliand, Greer, and Crossland Return to City Service

FLOYDADA, TX—Following the city-wide election two weeks ago, re-elected Mayor Bobby Gilliland will call another city council meeting to order tonight.

Gilliland will also reappoint Tali Jackson to the position of City Judge.

Current council members Tate Greer and Dana Crossland ran unopposed in the election and will be sworn back into office.

The Council will consider Hot Funds requests from St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church and the Floyd County Pioneers Association.

Finally, members will discuss and possibly take action on surplus vehicles/property for sale to the general public, including
a. 2000 – GMC Pickup
b. 1985 – Chevrolet Bucket Pickup
c. 2009 – GMC Pickup
d. 2003 – Chevrolet Pickup
e. 1998 – Freightliner
f. Heavy-duty tilt deck equipment trailer
