The morning will kick off at 9 a.m. with the Crosby County Irrigated RACE Trial on County Road 130, about 2.5 miles east of Highway 62 near Cone.
At 10 a.m., the group will move to the Crosby County Dryland RACE Trial just south of FM 193 near Mount Blanco.
The final stop will be at 11 a.m. for the Floyd County Irrigated RACE Trial on FM 651, about three miles south of Highway 62.
After a busy morning in the field, everyone is invited to head over to the Floyd County Friends Unity Center in Lockney for lunch and a Cotton Agronomy Program Update at noon. The center is located at 990 FM 786.
CEUs will be available for those who need them, and organizers ask that attendees RSVP to Rebekah Ortiz by October 6 by calling 806-695-5531.
The event is hosted by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, with support from local producers and community partners. It’s a great opportunity to learn, share, and stay connected with what’s happening in local cotton production.
