The Lockney cross country team continues to impress, showing determination and heart in their latest competition. Each runner gave their all, representing their school and community with pride and perseverance.
Leading the way for Lockney, KD Torres earned an impressive fifth-place finish while competing as a seventh grader. Fellow seventh grader Paloma Alvarado followed closely behind, taking seventh place, with Scout Rogers securing ninth to round out a strong showing for the team.
Their efforts on the course highlight both their talent and potential for the future. With such promising young runners already making their mark, the team’s outlook for next season is bright—and it’s clear that this is only the beginning of something special for Lockney cross country.
