FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Collegiate ISD Board of Trustees recognized multiple students and staff during their recent board meeting on Monday evening.
Students of the Month were honored from both A.B. Duncan Elementary and the Collegiate Junior High/High School. From Duncan, the honorees included Jaxon Fipps (3rd grade), along with support staff Alicia Briones, Dinah Rocha, Maria Dominguez, Erica Marmolejo, and Catrayssa Garcia. At FCHS, students Austyn Everett and Anahi Ceniceros (6th grade) and Ella Hightower and Wesly Crowe (10th grade) were recognized. Support staff recognition went to Ava Gonzales.
The board also acknowledged Jessica Trevino with a separate award for Foodservice Excellence through Southwest Foodservice.
Trustees opened the meeting with an invocation led by Randy Moore and the Pledge of Allegiance. No public comments were noted.
