FLOYDADA, TX — Christmas cheer is headed back to downtown Floydada as Santa on the Square returns on Wednesday, December 11. The festive community event is presented by the Floydada Chamber of Commerce, the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, and The Serrato Sisters.

This year’s celebration invites families, shoppers, and holiday lovers of all ages to enjoy an evening of Christmas spirit in the heart of town. Santa Claus will be making a special appearance, giving local children the chance to share their wish lists and take photos.

Vendors Welcome — Free Setup

Local vendors are encouraged to participate, with booth spaces available free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis. Organizers note that booths will not have access to electricity, so participants should plan accordingly.

Christmas Parade Details Coming Soon

A community Christmas parade is also in the works. Parade details — including the route map and registration information — are expected to be announced soon. Residents and organizations are encouraged to keep an eye out for updates.

Business Decor Competition

Floydada’s businesses are invited to join in the holiday fun by participating in a Best Business Decor competition. Shops can open their doors for extended hours, decorate their storefronts, or even set up downtown to be part of the festivities.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place—sponsored by The Serrato Sisters—will be awarded the evening of the event.
