Floydada’s Agriculture Advocacy Team Qualifies for State, Plans Community Send-Off

FLOYDADA, TX — Floydada’s FFA’s Agriculture Advocacy Team is headed to the State competition after earning the title of Area 1 Champions. Team members Rilynn Hinsley, Brooklyn Pyle, Madison Pyle, and Payten Shuping secured the top spot with their strong presentation and will now advance to compete at Sam Houston State University.

To celebrate their accomplishment, Floydada Collegiate High School will host a community send-off on Tuesday, December 2 at 3:05 p.m. High school and junior high students will line the halls as the team makes their way through, and community members are invited to gather near the high school gym to show their support.

The Floydada community continues to rally behind these outstanding students as they prepare to represent Area 1 and FCHS on the state stage.
