FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds were in non-district action on Tuesday night against the Denver City Mustangs in Floydada.
The Whirlwinds controlled most of the momentum in the first quarter, but a late surge from the Mustangs in the second quarter gave Denver City the lead 25-20 going into halftime.
Floydada tried to fight back in the second half, but ultimately fell 46-37.
After Tuesday’s game the Whirlwinds fall to 0-5 overall.
