LOCKNEY, TX – The spirit of Christmas was alive and well on Saturday, December 6th, as The Outcome—a local organization dedicated to spreading faith, fellowship, and forward-focused thinking—hosted a festive community event that drew families from across town.
The gathering offered something for all ages, starting with holiday goodie bags filled with stocking stuffers for children. Families were also invited to learn about the nativity through a hands-on sticker craft, enjoy Christmas story readings, and take part in a paint-your-own ornament activity. Members of the Lockney National Honor Society and Student Council volunteered their time to help younger participants create memorable holiday keepsakes.
In addition to the activities, several local vendors set up booths, providing shopping opportunities and showcasing small businesses within the community, an added boost for local entrepreneurship during the holiday season.
The celebration extended beyond the main event as Santa Claus made a cheerful appearance at West Texas National Bank. Families lined up for photos and a chance to visit with Santa ahead of Christmas, rounding out a day filled with joy and community spirit.
The event served as a reminder of the strong bond within the Lockney community, bringing neighbors together to celebrate faith, family, and the holiday season.
