FLOYDADA, TX – The holiday season kicks off in full swing tonight as Floydada hosts its annual Christmas Parade, bringing festive lights, community spirit, and family fun to downtown. This year’s event is proudly provided by the Floydada Chamber of Commerce, the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, and the Serrato Sisters.

The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with Meet the Santa on the square in downtown Floydada, giving children and families the chance to visit with Santa and snap photos before the parade begins.

The Christmas Parade will start at 7:00 p.m., featuring a lineup of brightly decorated floats, local organizations, and holiday-themed entries making their way through the heart of town.

During the festivities, the Floyd County Historical Museum will be open to the public, offering books, ornaments, coloring books, and other holiday items for purchase. The museum invites residents to stop by, explore local history, and pick up unique gifts.

Additionally, local vendors will be set up around the square, offering shopping and business opportunities for community members while supporting small, local enterprises.

With activities for all ages and plenty of holiday cheer, tonight’s celebration promises to be a festive highlight for Floydada families and visitors alike.
