FLOYDADA, TX – Several Floydada students have earned a spot in the prestigious All-Region Band and will travel to Lubbock this week to represent their school and community.
The All-Region Band event will take place Thursday and Friday at the Lubbock Civic Center Auditorium.
Students will spend the day on Thursday rehearsing with top musicians from across the region under the direction of guest clinicians.
Following a full day of preparation, the All-Region Band will present public concerts beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the Lubbock Civic Center Auditorium.
Family members, friends, and community members are encouraged to attend and support the students as they showcase their musical talents.
Qualifying for the All-Region Band is a significant achievement, requiring students to compete against peers from multiple schools and demonstrate exceptional musical ability through auditions.
School officials and band directors congratulated the students on their hard work and dedication, noting that participation in the All-Region Band provides valuable experience and highlights the strength of local music programs.
