FLOYDADA, TX – A.B. Duncan Collegiate Elementary has been recognized for its academic excellence, earning a Star Category designation on the Texas Honor Roll, an achievement that highlights the school’s commitment to student success and high educational standards.
The annual Honor Roll is presented by Educational Results Partnership (ERP) as part of the national Campaign for Business and Education Excellence. The program recognizes schools and districts that demonstrate outstanding academic performance based solely on objective student achievement data.
According to ERP, the Campaign brings together business leaders from across the state to recognize schools that are effectively preparing students with the fundamental skills needed for success in both the workforce and in life. For the past ten years, the Honor Roll has remained the only school recognition program in Texas presented in partnership with state and local business leaders, setting it apart from other academic awards.
The goal of the Honor Roll is to identify successful schools, spotlight best practices in education, and encourage collaboration among educators to continue improving student achievement statewide.
Floydada ISD officials praised the recognition, noting that the honor reflects the dedication of A.B. Duncan’s teachers, staff, students, and families who work together to create a strong academic foundation for young learners.
The Star Category distinction places A.B. Duncan Collegiate Elementary among a select group of schools across Texas recognized for consistent academic success, reinforcing Floydada ISD’s commitment to educational excellence.
