LOCKNEY, TX – Lockney Elementary School is preparing to host its annual Sweetheart Dance, offering students and their families a fun and memorable evening together. The event will take place on Friday, February 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Lockney Elementary School cafeteria.
The Sweetheart Dance provides an opportunity for Lockney Elementary students to enjoy music, dancing, and quality time with a special parent or loved one. The event is sponsored by Lockney Little People’s Club, helping make the evening possible for students and families throughout the community. The Junior High Student Council will also be on hand selling food and drinks during the dance.
Each Lockney Elementary student is invited to bring one parent or loved one, age 18 or older, to attend the event at no cost. Students who wish to bring an additional parent or loved one may purchase one extra ticket at the door for $5. The dance is limited to currently registered Lockney Elementary students, and siblings will not be permitted to attend.
Events like the Sweetheart Dance continue to strengthen the connection between students, families, and the school community by creating opportunities for families to come together and celebrate. The evening promises to be filled with fun, laughter, and special memories for Lockney Elementary families.
