Floydada FFA Competes Strong at Texas Elite Showcase

KERRVILLE, TX – Members of the Floydada FFA represented their chapter with pride at the recent Texas Elite Showcase held in Kerrville, bringing home several top placements against strong competition from across the state.

Armando Chavarria turned in an impressive performance in multiple divisions. He placed 6th in the Dark Cross division, 6th in the Berkshire division, and 7th in the Light Cross division, showcasing consistency and versatility in the show ring.

Abigail Reyes also earned a strong finish, placing 5th in the Dark Cross division and continuing the Floydada FFA tradition of excellence.

The Texas Elite Showcase draws exhibitors from across Texas, providing students with an opportunity to compete at a high level while gaining valuable experience in livestock evaluation, showmanship, and responsibility.

Floydada FFA students dedicate countless hours to caring for and preparing their animals, and their hard work was evident in the results at Kerrville. Chapter leaders and supporters say they are proud of the students’ commitment and the way they represented Floydada both inside and outside the ring.
