LOCKNEY, TX – Community members have an opportunity to support local students while enjoying a favorite snack during the upcoming popcorn fundraiser hosted by Lockney Elementary School.
The fundraiser will run from Feb. 20 through March 3, with proceeds benefiting the Lockney Longhorn Parent Club and its efforts to support campus programs and activities. Supporters can purchase freshly prepared popcorn in a variety of flavors by placing orders through any Lockney Elementary student.
Popcorn will be available in several options, including butter for $5 per bag and specialty flavors—cheese, caramel, cheddar, dill pickle, and kettle—for $6 per bag.
Organizers say the fundraiser provides a simple way for community members to contribute directly to local education initiatives while helping students take part in school enrichment opportunities made possible through parent club support.
Residents interested in ordering are encouraged to contact a Lockney Elementary student before the March 3 deadline.
