FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada community has once again shown the strength of small-town support, coming together to help the Hanes family following a serious accident involving their daughter, Ellie Hanes.

Ellie, the daughter of Chance and Jennifer Hanes, was critically injured in a skiing accident in January. Since then, she has undergone multiple tests and surgeries as part of her recovery. The family has continued to share updates on Ellie’s progress through social media, keeping friends and community members informed and asking for continued prayers.

Wanting to help ease the financial burden of mounting medical expenses, local businesses and residents stepped up in a big way.

Drink Stop On Main and Social Fly partnered to organize a silent auction fundraiser to benefit the Hanes family. Through the generosity of donors and bidders alike, the auction raised $2,500 to help with medical costs and other family needs during this challenging time.
