FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds baseball team battled on Tuesday night against the O’Donnell Eagles.
The Eagles took an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
O’Donnell would tack on another run in the top of the third to make it 3-0.
Floydada would get on the board with a run in the bottom of the fourth inning to make it a 3-1 ball game.
The Eagles were able to continue to capitalize on base runners and secured the victory 7-1 over the Whirlwinds.
Floydada falls to 5-3 overall and will look ahead to their next game in Olton next Tuesday.
