FLOYDADA, TX – Students in the Business Professionals of America (BPA) program at Floydada Collegiate High School are preparing to compete at the state level after qualifying through earlier competitions.

Faculty, staff, and fellow students gathered recently to give the group a special send-off, wishing them luck as they represent Floydada on the state stage.

BPA is a national organization that provides students the opportunity to develop leadership, business, and technology skills through competitive events, leadership activities, and real-world applications. Students who advance to the state competition have demonstrated strong performance in their respective events and will now compete against top students from across Texas.

The Floydada students will compete this week, representing both their school and community. School officials and supporters expressed pride in the group’s accomplishments and wished them success as they take the next step in the competition.

The community looks forward to cheering them on and celebrating their achievements as they showcase their skills at the state level.
