LOCKNEY, TX – The KCBD-TV NewsChannel 11 Live Community Coverage Tour is gearing up for 2026, and the excitement is already building in Lockney.
Known for bright lights and big stories, one familiar face from KCBD — Kase Wilbanks — is already preparing for the spotlight. Wilbanks, who jokingly says his eyes are sometimes too sensitive to even open on a cloudy day, will be part of the KCBD team bringing the broadcast to town.
The annual tour highlights the people, places, and pride that make small towns across the South Plains special, and Lockney is next on the list.
