LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns hosted the Quanah Lady Indians in a district battle on Tuesday.
The Lady Indians scored two runs in the top of the first, but the Lady Horns responded in the bottom half of the inning to make it 5-2.
The Lady Horns offense found a spark in the bottom of the second inning, scoring 11 runs and extending their lead 16-2.
Lockney would close the game out in the third inning, securing the district victory 17-2 over Quanah.
Lockney moves to 7-13-1 and 1-2 in district play.
