FLOYDADA, TX – Hard work and dedication paid off for a local student this week as Jensen Greer earned a spot at the state level following an outstanding performance at the Associational Bible Drill.
Greer competed earlier this week and needed a score of at least 48 to qualify for the state competition. She surpassed that mark in impressive fashion, earning a score of 63.
The Bible Drill competition tests participants on their knowledge of scripture, requiring them to memorize 25 Bible verses, 10 key passages, and the books of the Bible. Greer’s strong performance reflects the significant time and effort she has invested in preparation.
Community members and supporters have expressed pride in Greer’s accomplishment, highlighting her commitment and determination throughout the process.
With her qualifying score, Greer will now advance to the state Bible Drill competition, which will be held next month in Midland.
