FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds battled the Lockney Lady Horns in district action on Friday in Floydada.
The Lady Wind started the scoring first in the bottom of the first, scoring 10 runs and making it 10-0.
Floydada added to the lead in the second, scoring four more runs and making it 14-0.
The Lady Winds closed out the game in the bottom of the third to run rule the Lady Horns 15-0.
Floydada moves to 24-2 overall and 4-0 in district play.
Lockney falls to 9-14-1 and 1-3 in district play.
Following the game, the Lady Winds hosted an Easter egg hunt for children from both communities. Team members spread eggs across the field and assisted the children in collecting them.
