FLOYD COUNTY, TX – The Floyd County Stockshow Association is inviting all exhibitors, families, and community members to attend an Open Stock Show Meeting on Sunday, April 12th at 6:30 p.m. at the Unity Center in Muncy.
This meeting is an opportunity for the public to share feedback from the 2026 Floyd County Stock Show, including thoughts on the new schedule, layout, and overall organization of the event. Attendees are encouraged to bring their ideas, compliments, complaints, and comments as the association reviews what worked well and what could be improved moving forward.
In addition to reviewing the 2026 show, the association will open the floor for new suggestions and planning ideas for the 2027 Stock Show. Community input plays a key role in shaping the future of the event, and organizers hope to hear from a wide range of participants.
Other important topics on the agenda include discussion of the 2026–2027 judges, as well as board member elections. Those interested in helping guide the future of the Floyd County Stockshow are encouraged to attend and take part in the decision-making process.
Those planning to vote during the meeting are asked to bring their dues in cash in order to be eligible to vote.
A board meeting will follow the open meeting.
