FLOYDADA – You know spring is just corner when the Whirlwind Relays are held at Charles Tyer Stadium. Seven schools will participate in the Junior High meet on Thursday and the High School meet on Friday (March 3 and 4). Floydada has an eight-lane track which will offer a great venue for this annual event that traditionally kicks off the track and field season.
Schools competing include Floydada, Lockney, New Home, New Deal, Olton, Hale Center and Ralls. The Junior High meet will also include three athletes from Plainview Christian Academy.
Both days there will be competition by boys and girls athletes.
