DALLAS – A car collection that was once housed in downtown Floydada sold at auction last week in Dallas.

Mecum Auctions, the nationally touring auctioneers that have become a staple of weekend morning cable broadcasts, recently featured CJ’s Texas Classic Collection during their auction from the Dallas Convention Center last Thursday.

CJ’s Texas Classic Collection was a group of 45 cars and trucks that were once housed in two buildings near the Floyd County Courthouse.

The two highest auctions were a pair of 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air Convertibles, followed by a 1961 Corvette.
