Lady Winds Offense Heats Up for Win Against Sudan

FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds played host to the Sudan Nettes on Friday in a district game.

Sudan would start the game with a 4-0 lead after scoring four runs in the top of the first inning.

The Lady Winds would respond in the bottom of the second inning with two runs and cut the lead to 4-2.

Floydada’s offense would give the Lady Winds seven runs in the bottom of the third inning to take a 9-4 lead.

The Nettes scored three more runs in the top of the fourth inning, but the Lady Winds managed to close the game out in the seventh inning and secured the victory 14-7.

The Lady Winds move to 18-4 overall and 8-0 in district play.
