FLOYDADA, TX – Punkin’ Capitol USA could strengthen its foothold on pumpkin production in the region following a significant investment in Morales Pumpkins on Thursday morning.
Amado Morales is expanding his processing facility within the city limits, and the Floydada Economic Development Corporation incentive payment will be used to build infrastructure.
In addition, EDC board members agreed to move some funds into a certificate of deposit (CD) at First Texas National Bank to take advantage of higher interest rates.
