LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Longhorns played host to the New Deal Lions on Tuesday in their final home district game of their season.
The Longhorns would take a 1-0 lead after scoring the first run in the bottom of the first inning.
Lockney would add one more run to their lead in the third inning, going up 2-0.
New Deal’s offense responded in the top of the fourth inning, taking a 3-2 lead.
The Lions would continue that momentum into the sixth and seventh inning to secure the 10-3 victory over the Longhorns.
The Longhorns move to 7-11 overall and 5-6 in district play.
Lockney’s final district game will be on Saturday in New Deal.
