LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Longhorns will be welcoming young athletes to the court later this month with a two-day basketball camp at Lockney High School. The camp is open to all incoming first through ninth grade boys and girls and will take place May 28-29 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day.
The camp will focus on basketball fundamentals including defense, dribbling, passing, and shooting. Players will have the opportunity to improve their skills while learning from coaches and older athletes in a fun and encouraging environment.
Each camper will receive a camp shirt, and participants are encouraged to sign up before May 21 and provide their shirt size during registration. The cost to attend is $25 per camper, with payment accepted at the door.
The Lockney Basketball Camp is designed to help young athletes grow their confidence on the court while building excitement for the future of Longhorn basketball. Organizers say the camp is a great opportunity for students to stay active during the summer and continue developing their skills ahead of the next school year.
The camp will be held at Lockney High School and is open to all incoming first through ninth graders in the area.
